Tax Credits for Insulation!
On February 17, 2009, the President signed into law the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act", which included an increase in the tax credit for homeowners who have T•A•P™ installed in their attics. The maximum 2009/10 federal tax credit is now 30% or $1,500 (whichever is less). In addition, the credit has been extended thru 2010. We have attached the required TAP manufacturer’s certification that your customer will need to retain in their tax files. As an example of this benefit, an average $1,200 attic capping job will cost only $840, saving the homeowner $360! Concurrently, federal funding is pouring into the states from Washington earmarked for energy efficiency upgrades. Be sure you take full advantage of this lucrative opportunity to generate additional revenue for your company in the coming year.
